The Carney Institute seeks applications for the Judith and Jean Pape Adams Postdoctoral Award. This award was established with a gift from the Judith and Jean Pape Adams Charitable Foundation to support a postdoctoral scientist conducting research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or other neurodegenerative diseases. The award covers up to $75,000 in stipend and benefits, plus $5,000 professional development.
The award is open to postdoctoral researchers currently working in a lab at Brown.

The application package should be sent as a single PDF to kristin_webster@brown.edu and include the following:
- The nominee’s CV
- A letter of support from the faculty member
- A one-page research statement from the nominee describing the relevance of their research to ALS and neurodegeneration and the potential career impacts of the award
