Community Spotlight: Anda Chirila
New faculty member Anda Chirila is no stranger to Brown. In the lab of former Carney affiliate Julie Kauer, Chirila earned a PhD studying synaptic signaling and how it contributes to pain. Now, Chirila is advancing work she began as a postdoc at Harvard: integrating molecular-genetic tools and electrophysiology with computational, anatomical and behavioral approaches to study neuronal circuits involved in pain processing.
