We awarded more than $1M in internal grants, funding 6 innovation awards; 6 RI Neuroscience Consortium New Frontiers Awards; 2 postdoctoral fellows; 5 graduate awards; and 6 summer UTRA awards.
Building Community
- We organized 4 Carney Lunch Talks to spotlight our researchers and to foster trans-disciplinary conversations
- We welcomed 2 associate professors to the Center for the Neurobiology of Cells and Circuits, and 2 Carney staff members

Leading in Innovation

Carney-affiliated faculty published more than 200 articles in journals including: Journal of Neuroscience; Cell; Neuron; Nature Communications; American Journal of Psychiatry; Nature Neuroscience; PNAS; Lancet Neurology; and Molecular Cell.
