Salloway named Rhode Island’s Man of the Year for 2019

Dr. Stephen Salloway, Martin M. Zucker Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University, was recognized on January 1 as GoLocalProv's Man of the Year for his research on Alzheimer's disease and development of new ways to help combat this neurodegenerative disorder.

Salloway serves as a professor of neurology and as the founding director of the Memory and Aging Program at Butler Hospital, where clinical trials are providing insights into how to detect, diagnose, and treat the disease in its earliest stages. His research focuses on biomarker and drug development for prevention and early treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
